New Build SAP & EPCs
New Build EPCs are part of a European initiative to get more information on how efficient our homes are and what can be done to improve their efficiency. They are currently a mandatory part of the Home Information Pack and are required to gain a completion certificate from building control. For new build properties the EPC is produced from plans rather than a site visit and forms part of the SAP process.
